Thank you so much for this video I have rescued a group of feral kittens at about 3 months old and they are slowly becoming more social, Im hoping to get them to become fully social in a few more weeks so they can be ready for adoption, thank you so much for your tips!

THANK YOU for all you do, for the furry ones and for trying to educate the public – feral cats need an incredible lot of patience and observing and understanding. I wish I had seen your videos last year, when I was trying to socialize my Li’l moma and her 2 babies( 3 months old). I think I did a lot of things right instinctively, but by taking way to long, moma got pregnant again and delivered in my home after I captured all 3. My adopted feral cat was 3.5 months when I found him. He is a very loving pet now. If I’m sitting or laying down, he’s instantly purring in my lap. But he still HATES being picked up and will struggle and bite if I try it. He’s about a year now. Is it too late to train an adult cat to tolerate being picked up?
I’ve actually got a 5 mth feral kitten. He adapted quickly to humans and can’t get enough play and love. He at first was very untrusting and would run and hide, he wouldn’t hiss though…and he barely meows (Only when he wants attention now)

Just stay with it; if you are persistent they will come around. Some cats take longer than others. If you can separate them it helps. If they hiss or hide give them some alone time. Try to interact with them at least twice a day. Just don’t get discouraged. Good luck!
what kinnda baby food do you use flavor?
I am trying to socialize 6 feral kittens who are three to four months old. Before I trapped them, I was able to stay near while they ate starting at 8 wks or so, and even petted most, although one never came near. When I took mom to vet to be spayed, she lent me a cage, &I caught them with a haveaheart. One is nearly tame but others, although they will eat off a finger, still hiss at us. I don’t have a big get inside cage. Worried about whether I can really tame them…
Thank you for a great teaching video. I have caught over 25 feral cats. Some kittens I have tamed, some are too far nasty. I just got my newest wild kitten spayed and declawed yesterday. I can’t find a good home for her so I will keep her. Oh how I wish people would spay and nueter their pets! Thanks for all you do! Nelisgood

i need some help… im lookin after strays in my sch. there are 2 kittens who were undersocialised. I think they are abt 4 mths old.. they refuse to eat when im around so i leave food there for them. but whenever i’m around, they hiss at me and try to run away. i can’t cage them cos i dun have the money and its in sch. is there sth i can do?
This was a so informative and heart warming.. Thanks to these videos I’ve started to try and socialize a litter that recently popped up in my backyard. I’ve bought a cage and they hang out and feed in and around it. Eventually I’ll close them in bring them inside. Check out the video I posted on my channel.

Thank you truely for making these videos. I’m in the beginning process of working with a rescue shelter on a lame kitten that my aunt has. This has helped tremendously.
God bless you for the work you do. I’ve had several ferals that I’ve socialized, not easy work but well worth it.
I wish I had seen this before, my mama cat had babys before my deployment and they had limited human contact other than a buddies wife checking up on them so they went feral in my own house. I had to run them out of the house when they bit and gouged a plug of flesh out of my hand trying to get one to the bathroom to tame it.
I work at a homedepot and we had a 3 or 4week tuxedo black and white kitten come into the store after 2 days she was finally caught and was going to be took to the pound, I was like no and took her home with me, I let her loose in my room but she always hide and only came out to eat when I fed her, She also did not use the litter box because of stress, So i put her in the laundry room (thanks to this video) and now shes playful and cute, she now lets me pick her up and whines if I put her down.
This is just the best. What a great step by step overview of how and why. Kudos to everyone involved in this and thank you. I’m trying to socialize a 12 week old and just am starting tomorrow – took 2 weeks to find her in the area and get her into the cage – and this is very encouraging. AND informative. THANK YOU!!
