Kitten????

I had just bought a kitten(Abyssinian). She is only 6 months old and she started hissing and growling at us. The breeder said it would stop in about 2 days of having him. But is this normal? Also my other Abyssinian is hissing at her but is settling down. How long will this last.
Ok thank you for the answers bout my kitten but if you read on *reads on* it says I have a problem with my cat hissing and growling at the new kitten
Yes. For several reason in my opinion. 2days is too soon for her to fit right in. Is she spayed yet? If not, she could (although a bit early, be starting a heat cycle). And another thing – she is after all – an ABBY… No disrespect meant but do I need to say more? I love them to but they can have a bit of a tude, no? Give them some more time, it will probably be ok.
This all just depends on how temperamental your cat is. I wouldn’t leave the two alone together
Yes it is totally and completely normal, just like humans cats can be shy or angry when you remove them from their enviroment. The cat just needs to get used to you and all shall be fine.
